What is a trading plan?
This is the most simple thing you will ever learn in trading, because it is a combination of gears that have to placed exactly right. Your plan is your strategy, your timeframe, your discipline. Literally everything to do with trading, respecting this plan though could also be the very thing slowing you down in your journey. Sounds crazy right?
How is your plan breaking you?
Think of it this way, if you had a terrible wound on one of your legs. Would that wound heal by nonstop walking on it? of course not, it needs rest, and for a while you'd have to walk differently if you manage to.
The point in this case is very clear, you must learn through constant demo trading and practicing whether or not your plan is a strong one. This is something so many traders simply skip over, its easier to just keep walking on the wounded leg than to stop and assess how it will heal.
This means your plan is broken, so in turn, it is breaking your trading, as your respecting something that isn't actually helping you stay in line.
How do you actually work on this?
The fix is much simpler than you think. I want you to stop right now and think of what your plan is. Then, write it down on a piece of paper, to see how well you know it.
More importantly, input it into collosals preplan system. This will then cement your plan and give you a basis to analyse off. Once you've done that, trade as normal, respecting your plan as normal.
If you find faults in following and respecting your pre-determined plan, you are facing serious potential future issues if not addressed fast.
Depending on the stage you are at now though, it might not be too late to try to fix it.
What does it actually break though?
That's the golden question. You see, having a plan that is slowly causing your trading to break apart at certain intervals/scenarios is a major issue, because it means the thing you are trying to protect against in the action of using a plan is creeping in.
The idea being that if you ever allow your plan to hold any aspect of revenging, fomo, overtrading. It will hold it forever, and be a silent killer that could be the route cause of you delay to profitability.
That is why your plan may be the thing breaking your trading.
